CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

Next Generation Tools for Success

The Economic and Workforce Development Program invites proposals for breakout sessions for the Annual Conference. The theme of the Conference is "Next Generation Tools for Success!" To that end, we are seeking presentations about organizational structures that promote entrepreneurial delivery and processes and tools that can be implemented by college economic development professionals upon return to their campus. One day of the Conference will be targeted toward college leadership, CEOs, CIOs, Deans, and Faculty Leaders. We are specifically seeking processes or "How To" sessions on economic development that are relevant to college leadership.

Please be prepared to provide "hands-on" experiences with the process, product or tool, being presented. If selected, you will be required to provide your materials electronically prior to the Conference for inclusion in the Conference materials and posting to the EWD website.

Presentation Breakout Session: 1 hour 15 minutes. Hands-on experience using a process, product or tool that enhances economic development in the colleges.


TITLE:
Presentation/session title (10 words or less)


ABSTRACT:
Provide a narrative description of the session (50 words or less).


PROCESS, PRODUCT OR TOOL:
Name the process, product or tool that will be covered in this session or at the Marketplace. Tools include job aids, checklists, worksheets, procedures manuals, and other items that help do the work of economic development more effectively.


USABILITY:
Describe what College EWD professionals will be able to do with this process, product or tool and how it will help them with their EWD functions.


RESULTS:
What kinds of results might be expected from the use or application of this process, product or tool?


LEARNING:
Outline up to 3 learning objectives for session participants.


METHODS:
How will this session be conducted? How will participants engage with the process, product or tool?


MEASURE:
How will participants' understanding or use of the process, product or tool be evaluated in the session?


RELIABILITY:
How has the process, product or tool been tested? Who is using the process, product or tool in practice? What have been the results/impacts?
